About Me

Hi there, I'm Sarah Mitchell, the cook, recipe tester, photographer, and dishwasher behind this little corner of the internet. Welcome to my kitchen!

How it all started

My keto journey didn't begin with a diet trend. It began with a turning point. A few years ago, I was tired all the time, struggling with my energy, and frustrated that nothing I tried seemed to stick. When I finally gave the ketogenic lifestyle a real chance, something clicked, not just on the scale, but in how I felt every single day. Clearer mind, steadier energy, and food that actually tasted good.

The catch? Most keto recipes I found back then were either complicated, bland, or called for ten ingredients I'd never heard of. So I started experimenting in my own kitchen, determined to prove that low-carb food could be comforting, crave-worthy, and simple enough for a busy weeknight.

This blog is where I share everything I've learned along the way.

What you'll find here

Every recipe on this site is created and tested in my own kitchen, with real-life cooking in mind. You can expect:

  • Easy, approachable recipes with ingredients you can actually find at the grocery store
  • Comfort-food favorites made keto-friendly, including pizza, bread, desserts, and more
  • Clear nutrition info so you can fit each dish into your day
  • Tips and tricks I've picked up from years of low-carb cooking (and plenty of kitchen flops)

My philosophy is simple: eating well shouldn't feel like a punishment. Food should bring you joy, fuel your body, and fit into a life you actually enjoy living.

A little more about me

When I'm not photographing food or testing my third batch of fat bombs, you'll usually find me [hiking with my dog / spending time with my family / curled up with a good cookbook]. I believe the best conversations happen around a shared meal.

Thanks so much for being here. Whether you're brand new to keto or a seasoned low-carb pro, I hope you find a recipe that becomes a staple in your home.

Let's cook something delicious together.

With love, Sarah
